We all know a student diet is unlikely to be the pinnacle of healthy eating, but with 57% of those in education claiming their budget doesn’t allow them to follow government nutritional guidelines, it seems lack of finance could be a huge contributor to measly meals.
In our recent survey of 400 UK students, 23% of respondents claimed they had less than £15 per week to spend on food, whilst a shocking 70% had been forced to eat some strange concoctions due to lack of finances.
